Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about KPI99 performance health audits, engagements, and platform tools.
What is a Performance Health Audit?
A Performance Health Audit is a structured, evidence-based assessment of your system’s performance and capacity posture. We analyze JVM/GC, infrastructure utilization, load profiles, and bottlenecks to deliver an executive summary, detailed findings, and a prioritized remediation roadmap. Typical duration is 2–3 weeks. Request an audit.
How long does an engagement take?
Audits typically run 2–3 weeks. Scale & Latency Optimization engagements often run 4–8 weeks. Retainers are monthly. Incident support is scoped based on urgency. We’ll confirm timeline and deliverables when you contact us.
Do you work with our existing tools?
Yes. We use your APM, metrics, logs, and load-testing outputs where available. We also apply our PPI-F™ framework and platform tools (ICEA, Diagnostic) to produce evidence. We integrate with FinOps, SRE, and architecture governance so recommendations align with your existing processes.
What is the PPI-F framework?
PPI-F™ (Performance Pressure Index Framework) is our methodology for quantifying performance pressure across dimensions such as Performance, Production Readiness, Infrastructure Efficiency, and Failure Resilience. It helps identify where pressure propagates in distributed systems before it becomes an incident or cost problem. Learn more.
Are the platform tools (ICEA, Diagnostic) free to use?
Our platform tools are available for self-service assessment. They produce evidence and recommendations; they do not replace architect-led analysis. For prioritized roadmaps, capacity planning, and implementation support, we offer paid engagements. See our Terms of Service for use of the tools.
Do you work under NDA and with our procurement process?
Yes. We work under NDA and can align with standard MSAs, SOWs, and security questionnaires. Contact us at info@kpi99.co to discuss your process.
Who will work on our engagement?
Engagements are architect-led. You get direct access to experienced performance architects with enterprise backgrounds—no junior staff. We keep teams focused so you get consistent, senior-level expertise.
