PPI-F™ (Performance Pressure Index Framework)
KPI99’s methodology for quantifying performance pressure across dimensions such as Performance, Production Readiness, Infrastructure Efficiency, and Failure Resilience. It helps identify where pressure propagates in distributed systems before it becomes an incident or cost problem. The framework underpins our assessments and platform tools.
Performance pressure
The combined effect of latency, concurrency, cost per unit, and headroom in a system. High pressure indicates elevated risk of incidents, cost overruns, or scaling limits. We quantify it (e.g. on a 0–5 maturity scale) so teams can prioritize fixes and capacity decisions.
Performance Health Audit
A structured, evidence-based assessment of your system’s performance and capacity posture. We analyze JVM/GC, infrastructure utilization, load profiles, and bottlenecks to deliver an executive summary, detailed findings, and a prioritized remediation roadmap. Typical duration is 2–3 weeks.
ICEA (Infrastructure Cost and Efficiency Analyzer)
KPI99’s platform tool for analyzing cost-to-serve and infrastructure efficiency. Available at icea.kpi99.co. It produces evidence and recommendations; architect-led analysis is still required for prioritized roadmaps and implementation support.
PPI-F Diagnostic (Platform Intelligence Assessment)
KPI99’s diagnostic platform for running PPI-F–based assessments on workloads (e.g. JVM, Spark, Kafka, Trino). Available at diagnostic.kpi99.co. It helps identify performance pressure and areas for improvement; results inform but do not replace architect-led engagements.
PPI-F Platform
The set of KPI99 tools and services built on the PPI-F framework: the Diagnostic tool, ICEA, Performance Health Audits, and related engagements. Together they provide evidence-based assessment and advisory for enterprise performance engineering.
